Monika Bryk

Photojournalist and videographer.

Based in Warsaw, Poland.

The spectrum of my photographic interests includes political and socio-political phenomena, current events, also group activities as part of provincial life and socio-cultural subcultures. I am involved in my own documentary projects, but I am also open for assignments in Poland and abroad.

In 2020, I graduated my master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw, the Department of Media Arts, where I followed the Photojournalism course under Witold Krassowski, also Video Document course under Tomas Rafa (www.your-art.sk), specialising in video coverage of political events and politically motivated riots. During my studies, I was selected to participate in the Canon Student Program Workshop at the Visa pour I'Image Festival in Perpignan, France.

In 2019 I worked for a political party “Wiosna” (later "Lewica") for whom I covered the electoral campaign to The European Parliament and to the Polish Parliament. In 2020 I covered the election campaign for the presidential candidate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

Since 2019 I have been cooperating with "Krytyka Polityczna".
